Family Book Club: A Horse Named Sky

Share the love of reading with the whole family! Families of all ages are invited to join the JCPL Family Book Club and read aloud together in the comfort of their own homes. Families will read A Horse Named Sky by Rosanne Parry between September 21 and November 6. This book is recommended for children ages 8 and up. Discussion prompts will be provided to help jumpstart conversations. Books and discussion questions will be available for the first 50 families who register and can be collected at the Children's Desk. Family Book Club participants can celebrate the accomplishment of finishing the book by attending our wrap-up party on November 7. Registration is required and will begin on September 21st, 2026. Register by visiting the JCPL Children's Desk or calling (859) 885-3523, ext. 263.
